Jasmine Randone

Bachelor of Psychology and Criminology, Bachelor of Applied Science (Psychology) (Honours), Master of Clinical Psychology

Hello, my name is Jasmine (she/her). I am a Clinical Psychologist and I help people experiencing psychological distress to feel safe in themselves and in connection with others.

The majority of my practice focuses on:

My clients tend to come to therapy feeling stuck, anxious, alone or overwhelmed. After establishing a trusting relationship and working together, they typically begin to feel safe, understood and empowered to heal.

More about my work

I tend to enter the therapy room as my authentic self, aiming to foster a person to person connection. Safety and comfort in the therapy room are my primary goals and focus.

I work collaboratively with my clients, meeting them where they're at, and continuously working alongside them to help meet their therapeutic goals.
I have experience working across private practice, community mental health, tertiary mental health and forensic contexts. I have an interest in working with adolescents and young adults. My main areas of expertise are listed above, however, I also works with various other presentations.

Most people who attend therapy have a range of challenges they wish to focus on, therefore I typically use an integrative approach, drawing from a range of evidence-based cognitive behavioural therapies. I like to supplement these interventions with psycho-education. I believe that knowledge is power, especially when it comes to our own brains, bodies and and interpersonal patterns!

I work from a trauma-informed perspective, and emphasise the importance of a specific, tailored intervention plan, as no two people or presentations are the same.
I acknowledge the importance of a good fit when it comes to a psychologist. So if you are thinking of organising some support but you're not quite sure if we'll work well together - reach out to organise a free discovery call where we can chat specifically about you and your needs.
