Hey, my name is Jo (she/her). I am an experienced Psychologist who supports young people and adults feel empowered to understand and recover from the impacts of difficult (and even awful) life experiences. I am also able to support people identifying as neurodivergent cope with the impacts of living in a neurotypical world

The majority of my practice focuses on:
-
Complex trauma and PTSD
-
ADHD and Autism
-
Anxiety and depression
-
Stress and burnout
-
Grief and loss
-
Life transitions
-
Relationship difficulties
-
Chronic illness

I practice from a position of warmth, compassion, collaboration and respect.

I am trained in several therapeutic modalities, with my primary focus being on providing trauma-informed care regardless of which modality I use. Outside of work, I embrace dancing, music and creativity, especially yarn crafts. I bring these parts of myself into my therapeutic practice, my being aware of movement, body-sensations, artistic expression and sensory experiences.
