Dr Lucinda Poole
Bachelor of Applied Science (Psych) (Hons), Doctor of Psychology (Clinical)
Hello, my name is Lucinda (she/her). I am a Clinical Psychologist and I help young people and adults achieve their personal goals, find meaning and purpose, and increase wellbeing. I have particular interest and expertise in treating eating disorders and body image concerns, and anxiety.

The majority of my practice focuses on:
-
eating disorders
-
anxiety
-
stress and burnout
-
sleep disturbance
-
adjustment issues
-
relationship difficulties
-
substance misuse
-
perfectionism
-
depression
My clients often begin therapy feeling stuck or overwhelmed, but through our work together, they typically experience a greater sense of calm and confidence. They become more present, better able to manage their emotions and reactions, and empowered to navigate life's challenges.

More About My Work
I understand that trusting your therapist, and feeling like your therapist is 100% there for you, is the foundation of therapy. I also understand that you are an individual, and that good therapy includes tailoring treatment to your particular needs. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive space for you to explore your thoughts, emotions, and personal values, in order to move toward a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
Even More About My Work
(for those who love to nerd out on therapy)
I take an integrative approach, drawing from neuroscience, mindfulness- and acceptance-based sciences, cognitive-behavioural theories, schema therapy, and positive psychology.
