Hello, my name is Josephine (she/her). I am a Psychologist and I help people feel empowered to understand and recover from the impacts of difficult (and even awful) life experiences. I also support people who identify as neurodivergent to cope with the impacts of living in a neurotypical world.
The majority of my practice focuses on:
complex trauma and PTSD
ADHD and autism
chronic illness
anxiety and depression
My clients often come to therapy feeling broken, but after working together, they typically feel stronger, and more able to move ahead with life.
About my work
I am trained in several therapeutic modalities, with my primary focus being on providing trauma-informed care regardless of which modality I use. Outside of work, I embrace dancing, music, and creativity, especially yarn crafts. I bring these parts of myself into my therapeutic practice; my being aware of movement, body-sensations, artistic expression, and sensory experiences.
I practice from a position of warmth, compassion, collaboration and respect. I am trauma-informed, gender-affirming, and neuro-affirming.
