Certainly! We'll provide you with a receipt, which you can submit to your private health insurer for reimbursement. Check with your private health insurer for specifics about your level of cover.

Some of our therapists are registered with third-party funders (e.g., Victims of Crime Financial Assistance Scheme, WorkSafe, NDIS, TAC, and DVA). If you would like to use third-party funding to pay for your therapy please let us know so we can match you with the right therapist.

Some of our therapists do offer assessments (e.g., psychiatric, ADHD, WPATH, cognitive, educational, intellectual and developmental). If you're looking for an assessment, get in touch and we'll match you with the right therapist.

Our support team does not have permission to offer appointments at a reduced rate. We recommend speaking to your therapist directly about your financial concerns, as each of our therapists have their own ways of supporting people experiencing financial hardship.

Our physical spaces have been designed to provide a calm, attuned, and therapeutic environment for adults, meaning they are less-suitable for younger clients. We invite clients aged 16 and above to visit in-person, and can accommodate telehealth sessions for younger clients.

We have taken care to make our practices as accessible as possible, though we operate under some constraints. Here is some more information: - We offer telehealth therapy and in-person therapy. - Our offices are on the first floor, with 1 flight of stairs required to access. Unfortunately neither of our buildings have passenger lifts. - Our bathrooms are gender-free. - Our bathrooms are stocked with deodorant and menstrual products, because we know therapy can sometimes activate physiological reactions. - Our space is designed to have a calming sensory effect (i.e., soft textures, neutral and warm tones, low-volume music, calming aromas, caffeine-free beverages). - Our therapy chairs do not have arms on them to suit larger bodies. - We have mirrors in our consulting suites should you prefer to check yourself after a big cry; we can also cover these if you prefer not to be exposed to your reflection. - We welcome (but do not require) you to share your pronouns. - We welcome financial support via Medicare, private health insurance, third-party funding, and reduced-fee appointments (though these offerings differ from therapist to therapist). All Psychologists in Australia are bound by the Code of Ethics to provide safe, inclusive, and affirming care. WellSpace is a Therapy Co-Work Space - all of our therapists run their own therapy practices, with their own sets of policies and procedures, but work alongside each other in the WellSpace rooms. Some of our therapists opt-in to have WellSpace manage their admin, and others handle their admin independently.
